Hello Everyone. Angelina is now legally ours!! We have her adoption certificate!! We went for our interviews this morning, filled out more paperwork and did fingerprints and footprint (for Angelina). It was a hectic day. Babys crying everywhere. We are always going some where on the bus and everyone is sweating because it's so humid. The crying, screaming, heat, humidity, hunger and exhaustion makes for a lovely bus trip :)

Most of the families are starting to bond with their children. Some are having a rough time because the kids that were fostered are mourning the loss of those parents. It's heart wrenching to hear those children cry and it's painful to see the parents feeling helpless. please keep them in your prayers. I'm sure that as the trip progresses, more bonding will occur.

After paperwork today, we went to Walmart. The smells were pretty intense. And I didn't appreciate the dried grubs or the dried sea horses. I could barely look at them. Our yard was inundated with grubs for the past 2 year. Who knew that we could dry roast them?

This afternoon we hung out in the room and Angelina slept 2.5 hours. We finally had to wake her up for dinner. Dinner was rough tonight. Lots of crying. But it's par for the course.

Tomorrow we go on a tour of Nanning and to a museum. It should be fun on the bus again. But Angelina is very good on the bus. She loves to look out the window. She is happy when we are moving; when we stop she is NOT happy :( She likes the way Mommy walks her around facing everyone. Sandeep and I are both getting a work out. She is pretty heavy :)

Here are some pictures from our trip today. More tomorrow after our day trip.

HOOORRRRRRAAAAYYYYY!
We are so happy for you, and we can't wait to meet Angelina! She's beautiful, and you make a lovely family. We'll have to set up a playdate with Carmelina after you get back and recover from your jetlag! Enjoy your adventure. We've been home almost two weeks now, and the time is just flying by. Thanks for the armchair view of your most exciting journey. We've been thinking about you and now we wait anxiously for your dispatches.
Love, Mary Ellen, Mark and Carmelina
P.S. Carmelina didn't cry either when we got her. I keep replaying our video of Gotcha Day, trying to relive the moment.
P.S.S. Sorry we didn't get to chat before you left. Jetlag was wicked...Didn't feel normal until about a week after we got home.
